Annette started with the firm in 2004 as a secretary. Ten years later she gained the NZLS Legal Executive Diploma, and now works almost exclusively on easements, from drafting through to registration.
Annette says she loves the challenge of having a couple of hundred active files, all at different stages, and never knowing which one will suddenly become urgent.
Though her childhood took her halfway round the world and back, Annette has spent all of her adult life in Dunedin. It is her favourite place to live.
Away from the office Annette is a keen gamer, preferring anything that allows open world exploration. She collects books, particularly old travel related books and books about Otago history. She buys other books almost faster than she can read them, keeping her favourites and donating the rest to the Regent 24hr book sale. Annette especially enjoys books about the latest discoveries in science.
