Joanne is our People and Culture Coordinator. She primarily looks after recruitment and onboarding while coordinating health, safety, wellbeing and employee engagement. Joanne works closely with our People and Culture Manager, Lisa on various firmwide initiatives.
After returning to Dunedin, Joanne joined Gallaway Cook Allan in 2015 as a Legal Administrator, primarily supporting the Dispute Resolution and Employment Team. In 2023 Joanne began studying a Diploma in Business and Human Resource Management and, in 2024, transitioned to People and Culture. Her industry experience includes work in the disability sector, accounting sector and the automotive industry.
Joanne is focused on supporting the firm to achieve success through its people. With an eye for detail and a drive for efficiency Joanne is the “go to” person for all things recruitment. She gets particular satisfaction through collaborating with the Firm’s leadership team to find exactly the right person and enjoys seeing our people progress and succeed in their careers.
Outside of work Joanne enjoys planning her next house renovation project and spending time with family and friends.
